MVIA Warranty Policy Fails Ordinary Vehicle Owners

I submitted a warranty claim for the inner CV joints of my 2013 Opel Astra, which was rejected because the CV boot was torn and no lubrication was present. According to MVIA’s policy, this automatically voids the claim.

This expectation is unreasonable. should vehicle owners really be expected to disassemble wheels every nkw and again to inspect CV boots? The issue was unforeseen and beyond my control.

My current mechanic confirmed poor workmanship from the previous installer, which had already resulted in two prior claims with MVIA.

Despite providing this verification, MVIA has not reconsidered the claim or responded to my emails.

Warning to others: If you’re considering a motor warranty with MVIA, do your homework carefully. Policies may not protect you as expected, and communication can be unresponsive.
