MVIA not willing to pay

I took out a policy with MVIA on the 10th of January 2024, and when I claimed for the Throttle body on the 26th of July, I only got a response today the the warranty I took does not cover Throttle body, yet I have a cover of R40 000 for engine. I consulted with the mechanics before claiming, and the funny thing is my vehicle is on limp mode with the epc and engine light on. If throttle body is not part of the engine then why do I have these lights on and the the car on Limp mode. The consultant that attended to me was very rude. The worst thing throttle body does appear under the excluded items on the policy that was shared with me.
