MVIA: Misleading, unfair and dishonest claim handling

I had a terrible experience with MVIA. I submitted a valid claim for a service, which was properly quoted and submitted by the service provider. MVIA then approved only a fraction of the claim, claiming that the quote was based on OEM pricing instead of aftermarket pricing.

This is simply not true. The service provider has confirmed and can prove that the pricing was aftermarket. Despite being provided with this information, MVIA refused to revise the settlement, forcing me to pay the difference myself.

To make matters worse, MVIA advises that if you cancel your policy while on a monthly plan, no refund will be paid. This is a material condition that is not clearly disclosed in their policy schedule or documentation.

This feels like a deliberate attempt to mislead customers and avoid paying valid claims. Based on my experience, MVIA cannot be trusted. I strongly advise anyone considering MVIA to stay away, you will regret it.
