I took out a service plan with MVIA for my Audi A3 expecting peace of mind. Instead, I got delays, frustration, and shifting goalposts. At my 180,000km service, they refused to cover brake fluid because my car's onboard computer didn’t flag it—despite Audi’s official schedule requiring it and MVIA claiming they follow dealership recommendations. They also rejected my RMI-approved quote because it included OEM parts, insisting only manufacturer dealers should use OEM—nowhere is this stated in the policy. Most RMI centres use OEM to uphold workmanship. They compared my quote to Goldwagen retail prices (not a workshop), unfairly slashed labour hours, and took over 48 hours to approve a basic claim. MVIA was unprofessional and reinvented terms not in the contract. I’ve cancelled my policy. Avoid them
