Disappointed / Disgusted / Sick by this Insurance
Since the day I joined, my policy has given me so many problems.
I can speak from experience because I work in customer service about the terrible calibre of customer assistance. Despite receiving a lot of emails after signing up, emails were left ignored for a month thereafter. After raising my request with their management, I had to physically coach them in the art of providing customer care before having them carry out my request. When calling to request a correction because my car needed servicing today, I was informed that this was not feasible and that I would need to make an EFT payment for the error to be corrected. When I contacted, I was informed that it will reflect the following day after I had gone ahead. Again, I didn't want any difficulties with my service, so I spent 1 hour and 20 minutes on the phone with them to have them solve it up by submitting POP and having them allocate to my account.
The following day, I discover that the debit from my account was still authorized. How on earth is this possible? absolutely no apologies for errors done.
The RMI registered firm submitted an estimate for approval today for a service only to be informed that they wouldn't be paying for all of the labour charges, or the supplies required for a regular service. For a normal service quotation without the extra inspections and defects detected from +-3900, they only cover 1700. Please clarify what I have signed up for as all of the regular service plan's components, including labour, should have been included.
I now have to pay the difference in costs on my own, which leads me to question why I ever took out this plan since it doesn't benefit me at all. For brakes and wipers added under the same umbrella, this also received approval for less than half my quote. Hence, even though I have a service plan in place, I am ultimately paying between 85 and 90 percent out of pocket.
I'm still paying for the insurance out of cash, so why do I have a plan?
