Complaint Regarding Inadequate Service and Misrepresentation of Coverage

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received from MVIA Insure on [Date] when I required assistance for my vehicle, [Vehicle Make and Model], covered under my warranty policy with your company. My policy was transferred to MVIA Insure from Apex in August 2022, and the experience I encountered was far from the level of service I expected and have been paying for.

1. Lack of Communication and Documentation:

Upon the breakdown of my vehicle, I encountered significant difficulty in locating MVIA Insure's contact information. While my warranty was transferred, I never received a new policy document or claims procedure forms. This lack of communication left me ill-prepared to navigate the situation effectively.

2. Coverage Discrepancies:

My original policy with Apex stated that I was covered for towing up to 100km. However, I was informed by MVIA Insure that the coverage was limited to 50km. This discrepancy between the coverage I have been paying for and the service provided is a major concern.

3. Incorrect Towing Distance:

Additionally, I was told that the distance for towing was 60km, and I would be charged for a round trip, totaling 120km. However, the actual distance using the N1 South; Kliprivier Dr route was 51km. Therefore, if it were indeed a round trip, it should have been 102km, and I should have been liable for only 2km, not 70km as I was charged.

4. Not a round-trip:

To compound matters, the tow truck did not return any where close to the area where my car was picked towed after dropping off my vehicle, as they had another job in the area. I had to arrange for alternative transportation at my own expense. So I do not understand the round trip concept, but I guess that’s how the tow truck company operates.

5. Lack of Follow-Up and Contact Information:

I requested contact details from the consultant who assisted me, Thato, to provide feedback, but these details were not provided as promised. This lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable.

I am deeply disappointed by this entire experience and feel that I have been taken advantage of. As a loyal customer, I expect to receive the coverage and service I have been paying for. I kindly request the following actions to be taken:

1. Reimbur*****t for the incorrect towing charge of R1050. 2. Clarification and correction of my coverage to align with the 100km towing limit. 3. Improved communication and provision of necessary documentation. 4. Accountability for unfulfilled promises from MVIA Insure representatives.

I believe that addressing these issues promptly is essential to maintaining the trust and confidence of your customers. I look forward to a swift resolution of these matters. Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and provide a timeline for when I can expect a response.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope that MVIA Insure can rectify these issues and continue to provide the high-quality service that your customers expect.
