BAD START

This is a very bad start with this company, I took up the policy and with the consultant that was helping me on the phone, He did ask about my service history and i did mention that because i was out of the service plan and i took the car to a private mechanic for the 45KM service and he said no problem. It means my car is due for the 60Km service and it will be covered by them. i signed up and have been paying since July 2024. Now its time to claim for the 60KM i get told i must pay 50% of the claim as i have missed a service. I never missed any service unfortunately it was with a private mechanic and i did declare this from the start! This was NEVER communicated to me on taking up this service plan and now i get told to refer back to the policy wording, i told the agent that they cant tell me with a policy wording as you only get the policy documents after signing the insurance and this i was never told on the phone that i will get a 50% percent penalty for that, I want them to listen to the voice recorded phone call and tell me when did the guy tell me i will need to pay half of the amount for the 1st service due?! I would have never signed up this plan but the guy told me the next service due would be around R6K and never mentioned that i would need to pay half for the 1st service. I want that recording because they promised me lies and when its time to claim its stories after stories! This is pathetic!
