absurd excuse for not covering a failed turbo

I just bought a 2018 ford Everest, and took out a mechanical policy. The turbo failed. the claim was denied on the basis that the turbo is not part of the engine. I find this absurd as a engine is shipped with a turbo and will not work without it. letter extract below " This letter serves to inform you that your claim is not covered by this policy. We have also notified the repairer that the component or part is not covered. The cost of the repair will there be for your own account. CLAIM DETAILS Claim Description: Turbo charger Product: Core 1 Warranty Plus25 (12) V5 Policy Number: CO1512PL25-*** Claim Number: CLA***

THE REASON YOUR CLAIM IS NOT COVERED A mechanical warranty only covers specific items listed under the components covered section of your insurance policy wording.
