Short Money paid for a claim

I have confirmation in email from Old mutual insure to say after excess fee what will be paid out is R10 362.36 but what was paid to us was R8020.23, A full month of asking and sending emails enquiring what happened to this R2000, even the assessor has not rep**** to my email. If this is not resolved I'm taking you to Ombudsman because Im sick of this
