Why do steps such as Hello Peter be necessary to take when dealing with a simple third party claim? An Old Mutual client drove into my client on the 28th of June 2018. I translate and consulte on behalf of the person that got driven into. When it was clear that the person was not going to claim from Old Mutual as she felt it wasn't her fault, we got the go ahead to file a third party claim. All the document was sent to Old Mutual - after 3 weeks of following up and numerous messages being left I was contacted and then the case was given over to another Old Mutual representative, who then claimed that he didn't receive all the needed paper work (Myself of my client wasn't contacted to inform us that the paper work was outstanding - WHICH IT WASN'T, it was only to buy time and make me look as the negligent party.

The case was eventually handed over to a negotiater on the 3rd of Septemeber 2018 and after phone calls and emails sent to the negotiater and the other 2 previous persons - NO COMMUNICATION has been received what so ever.

What do I do now? Is this just the way Old Mutual handles third party claim? Am I just suppose to let my client be without a car for who knows how long? Is the claim not as important as the other claims - Because I've gotten told that over the phone too..
