kindly assist us we are having an insurance with old mutual under policy number:*** and we are paying for the house, vehicles and house contents. We moved to old mutual because they promise the best services and we had to abandon our old insurance. We are staying in a bond house and it's two years now and since it's a raining season we experienced leakage inside the house. We reported same to the nearest old mutual office and on the 03rd March the assessor came to check and took pictures where there was leakage. We waited and later my we received feedback on the 13th March 2025 that our claim was declined due to lack of maintenance and deterioration. We were surprised because we were never told anything about maintenance and deterioration prior being their member. And they accepted to insurer us without any problems. We humbly request your intervention because we are not happy that they declined our application and they made us to leave our insurance for them. If indeed we were have challenges they could have checked before opening an insurance for us.
