PATHETIC INSURANCE
this now the 2nd time that im having an isure with old mutual insurance, i have put through a claim on tuesday about a for repairs to leak within a wall and it is now seeping into the main building. Up until now no assesor has been sent out to look at and assess what needs to be done. Its is a short week as well and my tenants have no water for 4 days straight now. AND old mutual does is too slow and dont understand the urgency of the matter. i have sourced my own contractor that can cary out the job asap however OLD MUTUAL will not allow them to do the repairs and the fault is from their in sending an assesor to the premises.
The other insurance companies are not so slow and get things done asap in emergancies.
This is the last straw and i will definietly be changing my insurance regardless, cant work imcompetant people and companies.

14 Dec 2023, 15:58Your insurance is full of ****, now the plumber they sent out there is saying we are not covered for pipe leaks where as i got a professional engineer and contractor to look at the problem cause youll took too long to get the people out there and now youll they tell me im not covered for pipe or tap leaks when its from inside the wall the tub that has a leak. Your insurance and brokers are ****mers and ******* and i wont be dealing with youll going forward. STUFF YOULL AND YOUR **** INSURANCE ****MERS.

How does one resolve a claim when it is now gone 1 whole week and our building is getting further damaged and cannot be resolved or repaired due to this lazy thieving insurance OLD MUTUAL, WHO DON’T SEND THE CORRECT PEOPLE TO EVEN ASSESS THE DAMAGE BEFORE MAKING A REPORT. THEY SEND FLY BY NIGHT PLUMBERS DOES TO NOT PAY THE CLAIMS.

The broker now calls and tells me that they DO NOT cover a leak thats in the building between the tub and the wall and that they only cover for water, what bull**** insurance is this. They calling it an maintenance issue?? How the **** is that a maintenance issue when it is in the wall casuing damage to the walls and slab? Must now go and bust all walls in my house to see what is leaking and maintain it??
