Omnisure
So on the 30th of May 2019, one of Omnisure’s clients drove into my vehicle inside a traffic circle, I had right of way, omnisure’s insured confirmed that she was focusing on a truck across the street at the time of the incident and that she never saw me coming thus she drove into my vehicle. She admitted guilt, gave me her insurance details etc and I proceeded to phone omnisure and follow their company procedure for a claim against them as opposed to using my insurance ( this would prevent increased premiums on my insurance and would also not affect my no claim bonus) Damages to my vehicle amounted to just on R30 000.00 and car hire around R8000.00 additional. Now keeping in mind this accident was in no way my fault, there was no reasonable time to take evasive measures, there was no speeding or just happened, she drive into me. Long story short omnisure offered a settlement of R3135.00 of a R38000.00 claim and there reasoning for this is that I was also guilty because
1. I never hooted???? 2. I never took reasonable evasive measures to prevent the accident..
For all intensive purposes I should have stopped the accident from happening by pressing a pause button of sorts, climbed out my vehicle, picked it up and placed it out of harms way, this would have obviously prevented the accident.... well I’m sorry omnisure it unfortunately does not work like that.
Please be advised that I will be informing every single person I know that omnisure are ****** and I’ve got tons of emails to back this up... the only way to redeem yourself is to pay the claim as per what I have sent in... I am in sales and believe me I know the pain I can bring your company... why must I pay for your insureds mistake at all. Does not dork like that.
