Old mutual lying after making a promise and now they just quiet

I was contacted by a Broker/ Financial Advisor from Old Mutual named Mazwi regarding short term insurance. After explaining to him that I'm ot interested and I already have insurance, he then is adamant that he can offer me better deal and the more I'm trying to explain to him that this will not happen as I already enquired from Old Mutual a month back and they were expensive and that I'm not interested as I'm busy working amd this will be wasting my time, he then if Old Mutual can't beat my current short term insurance by R500 or more and also beat my excess, they will give me R500 for wasting my time. I then advise that they will definitely be losing and asked that they first send em an email confirming this agreement as I'm not prepared to spend an hour wasting my time on this quote. He then agrees and sends me the email confirming this. I then agree that Old Mutual can call me as per the email and see if they can beat my current insurance. We spent about 50 mins on the call and just as I said, OM could not beat my current insurer. When asked about my R500 as per the email agreement, I just hear nothing now as they said they will get another Financial Advisor to call me. I'm still waiting and after sending them a few emails now already, I'm getting no response. Is this the lies and deceit we get these days from Old Mutual. I can't believe that a reputable company like this is now resorting to this tactics. Can a Senior person please call me to resolve this and 5⃣ me my R500 as agreed upon by email for wasting my time.
