Old Mutual is the worst insurance there is

This is probably the worst insurance company I have ever been insured at.

I had 2 x minor storm damage claims in the last 3 months. I live on the KZN north coast and we experienced few heavy storms. My claims were small...one was R12k and the orther was R6.5k.

I was informed today that my premium was increased with R1k from the end of the month. They knew I stay at the coast and surely the risk for insuring someone in my area must be worked into the algorithm for calculating the premium.

Old mutual took 4 x weeks to finalise my storm damage claims...each.

Pathetic! Their attitude stinks and they have absolutely no humanity in their company.

Their sole purpose is to make money from their customers.

I will never recommend them to anybody.
