Old Mutual Insure is one of the worse insurance institutions that I will never recommend to any person, even to my worse enemies. I submitted a claim (***) for my son's laptop; they don't even provide an update on the status of the claim until yesterday after I decided to ask the broker and she's telling me that the person handling the claim by the name of Irwin Isaac told her that the damage is wear & tear they are not going to pay. This is pathetic, when I was taking the insurance, I was not told about this nonsense. Clearly this is one of the strategies that is being used by these people when it's time for claims. How the insurance handles my claim, it's going to have bearing on the other 4 people that I have referred to this institution.
