Old Mutual has no claims department

Old Mutual is a big company and one you would easily trust to insure your valuable assets with, but when it comes to the claim process, it's like dealing with a fly-by-night. It's disturbing. I've been trying to process a new claim, the claims department never answers your calls even when you're "first in line" you will hold until the sun sets. I then sent an email and guess what? Haven't heard anything from them. I then downloaded the app to log the claim there and guess what again? Haven't heard anything from them. I get auto replies to call their number but no one answers. I am yet to process a claim it's been more than a week now, I can't imagine how much longer it will take once the claim is in progress. I can't use my vehicle but I have insurance.
