OLD MUTUAL DOES NOT SETTLE CLAIMS

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED.

One of Old Mutual clients drove into the back of my vehicle and the driver of the truck which also does not have a valid South African license which drove into my vehicle even jumped out and apologized and was very sorry for causing the accident. I have submitted a third party claim with Old Mutual insurance and provided them with ALL the necessary documents and an explanation as to how the accident had happened. The owner of the company - KQ Melkery whose driver drove into me even provided me with his insurers details to submit a claim.

I just received an email from advisors that my claim has been declined and accused me of causing the accident which is absolutely absurd!The advisor did not ask for any supporting documentation or what I had to say about the accusation and If I have any evidence to prove to them that the Old Mutual client was at fault. I believe the advisor would loose out on his salary and therefore just took the opportunity to decline the claim thinking that I would leave it there.

I am busy with the Ombud and I will make sure to take this to the big social media platforms to warn the public about Old Mutual and their horrible claim payouts.

DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER OLD MUTUAL AS YOUR INSURER
