mutual and federal - find an excuse not to pay

After about 2 months of submitting my claim I am told , there is a huge possibility , my claim will not be paid out due to me being listed on the credit buera over 4 year ago. When Mutual and Federal are debiting my account each month , no questions were asked then,why when it comes to paying out a claim, only then we are told of all this. If I had to have an accident now , will my car not be covered. I am sure many other people out there feel the same away, Mutual and Federal are looking for a reason not to pay. When you are a loyal customer and to be treated like this . If you look at the Hello Peter website and look at all the complaints about Mutual and Federal , it really makes you wonder, what is going on ???? I beleive it is not the company, it is the people that represent the company that are giving the company a bad name, could their bonus be based on the lower the claims the higher the bonus , we will never know , all I know is I have been waiting for 2 months , and the Durban Claims Department is useless , thanks to a good broker , who is trying is best to assist .
