Half Good .... Half Bad

Imagine being Claim free for Over 25Years, Then the Original Items in your home Finally decides that it had enough.

1. They Geyser decided to Start leaking. Thank fully it did not Burst and its just a leak. - I spoke to "Benedictor", from the Geyser department, on the phone who assisted me flawlessly. - She advised me that there is an Excess of R1000 payable to Plumber which i was happy to cover for my mom. - within 1,5hrs, The plumber was here to have a look at the problem. - They then left and advised they will be in contact.

2. The Garage door decided to snap 1 of its cables and has been lopsided for a while now. My mom only mentioned this to me about the garage when she called me and asked me to call Old Mutual about the Geyser. - I spoke to Joy who told me she is sending me forms to fill in to claim for the door. - She then proceeds to tell me that If the damage is deemed wear and tear, then they wont fix it as its will be deemed lack of maintenance or something to that effect

Now i explained to her that its a Non-Serviceable item thats damaged which is the cable that snapped. there is no form of maintenance that 1 can offer for that cable.

While i found the response to me absurd, i proceeded to just have her send me the forms so i can put the claim in for my mom to get the issue fixed..

Joy Did not send me the forms. I tried few times during the day to get through and the lines were just busy. when i finally got through, im told by Susan that the claims department closes at 5pm and i must call tomorrow.

Guys, this is not a good first experience. Yes i offered to Fill in the forms instead of doing it over the phone but that does not mean you waste my time by not sending me the forms.

While im happy with the service offered by the Geyser team, your building Structure claims Guys suck big time as i did not have a difficult request

Since there is only 5 Stars to rate out of, I actually want to give you guys 2.5stars but since thats not an option, you get 2 stars only.

Lets hope tomorrow goes in your favor and my frown upside down. and Change Joys name to Nojoy.
