Dishonest Customer Service

I don't even know where to start. I recently had a motor vehicle claim which OMInsure somewhat honoured. Upon logging the claim I was informed that I have an excess due on my claim which came as surprise as I always had an excess waiver on my policy. Turns out Old mutual decided to remove the excess waiver on my policy and now claim I was sent a notification. Had this been the case I would have asked that it be reinstated as it was always prt of my policies since inception! They refuse to forgo the excess that due as they claim I was sent a notification! Honestly pathetic client service to just remove features the clients were paying for without proper notifications!

You can rest assure that I will be cancelling this policy when the repairs are done because clearly Old mutual thinks they can change clients policies as they please!

It should be added that
A few months ago, I also submitted a claim for a high‑risk item and was told at that stage that the waiver applies only to my vehicle and household contents, not high‑risk items. At no point during that claim was I informed that the excess waiver was removed from my policy without my instruction.
