Comparing Apples to Peanuts

Where do i start. Last year was the very first time my mom needed to claim in the 26years she has been with this company. the geyser burst and they sorted it out. Few month later, Water leak and they sorted it out.

After the above, they Bumped up this pensioners Insurance premium from R500ish to Over R900ish.

She recently put in a claim for TV that was damaged by her grandchild. Telefunken tv. I was shocked to see that Old Mutual actually looked for the ****piest brand "Sinotec" TV with the Same specs of the telefunken and offered to pay that out.

how in the world do you compare Apples to Peanuts??? you would think as an insurer, you would at least find a Suitable replacement in the same Brand market. Telefunken to hisense or to LG or something to that effect.

but what a low blow to Choose the Bottom of the barrel brand. really shocked to be honest
