Claim***

My car was damaged whilst on Dove-Goodall & Williams premises in Bellville on 19 May 2015. The claim was forwarded to their insurance company Mutual and Federal as a third party claim for settlement on 28 May 2015.<br> <br> We were subsequently informed that our claim would be subject to a review by Mutual and Federal after 60 days. This is ridiculous. We were not at fault. The car was parked on the premises of Doves, behind a security fence. Another car hit the fence, which then fell onto my car. <br> <br> In this instance, I don't understand why my claim should need to be 'reviewed'. Furthermore, all the necessary paperwork was submitted to Monica Green on 3 June 2015, however she claims that it was only received on 17 June 2015. This means that my 60 days for claim review only starts on 17 June. <br> <br> My phone calls go unanswered and I am struggling to get feedback as to when this claim will be settled or even IF it will be settled!!! I am the innocent party here and feel that my treatment at the hands of Mutual and Federal claims department leaves much to be desired. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>
