Cellphone insurance mislead.

I insured my cell phone for R 3 500, i lost my phone after 2 years insured when I claimed they asked for quotation of the phone i wanted looking at the value of my phone insurance I was expecting to get any phone as long as is within the value of R 3500. To my surprise I was only approved for R 3000.

I was told they only approve for the phone I had but it doesn't make sense for me if I want other phone of the same value or more with R 200 while it is within the value that is insured. I wasted my airtime my petrol to drive to the malls to get the quotation that is useless to the company.

At the moment I don't have a phone I feel it's unfair cause I have to pay access of R500 then then they spend like R 2500.00. At most of service providers said that the Huawei P8 lite phone is discontinued. that is why i requested for other phone within my value.

can someone explain to me about this.
