Beware Mutual & Federal

I am a pensioner living in Plettenberg Bay. On February 3rd in the early hours of the morning my alarm went off. My security company ADT, dispatched armed response. who arrived within minutes. A window had been forced open and the burglar bar bent double. A laptop and a mobile phone had been ******. The police arrived and took finger prints.<br> I advised M&F and sent them: Photographs of damage, incident report police report and case number.<br> M&F asked for proof of ownership, which i could not supply as it was a wedding anniversary present from my son in the UK. They asked for and received my sons contact details. They requested him to supply them with a purchase receipt (from 18 months ago)<br> He visited the store where he purchased the laptop but was told that they were not able to provide a receipt for an item purchased so long ago. On March 1st we had a second break in losing our flat screen tv which the police recovered damaged 3 hours later we also lost a Samsung amplifier, dstv decoder, desktop computer and bronze statue., all recover some with damage, except the bronze.<br> On March 11th M&F telephone to say they had cancelled my policy with effect from 3rd of February!!
