Appalling Service

As an employee of Old Mutual Insure I'm appalled by the service I've received through your broker Strategic Insurance System. Due a claim that happened earlier this year which is now sitting with the Ombudsman, it was recently communicated that my policy was subsequently cancelled from February this year. This has made it extremely hard for me to find a cover, because most companies decline you once you've an insurance company cancels their contract with a client, as baseless as it currently is. I find myself in a position where, God forbid anything where to happen to my valuables, i wouldn't be covered because I've yet to pay for my annual premiums. And all of this due to fact that my refund is not being released by the insurance company. I'm been sent from pillar to post, if it inst that they need to change the details on their system to process the refund, its the latest being its sitting with their legal depart for them to review. Review what exactly? Logic would dictate that before you cancel a policy and confirm a refund, you've done all the checks one needs to do. I honestly feel this is a situation where I'm being frustrated to simply get back at for calling this insurance company out on their ********* behavior. As an employee of Old Mutual Insure, I would hope mire attention is paid to whom the company associates and lends its name to.
