An Absolute Nightmare — Incompetence, Delays, and Zero Accountability
If I could give a negative zero star, I absolutely would. I am a patient person by nature, but this entire insurance process is a complete and utter disgrace. I was ****** at the beginning of April, and my phone was ******. I immediately called Telkom, who then redirected me to Omart to process my claim — and that’s where the chaos began.
Omart is a JOKE. They do NOT follow through, they leave you chasing THEM for updates, but somehow, miraculously, they never forget to debit your account every single month without fail. That part, they’ve got down to a science!
Let’s talk about Obakeng — who knew there was a missing document from what we submitted, and instead of SAYING SOMETHING, just stayed silent. That’s not just poor service, that’s flat-out incompetence. What are they even "processing" if they don’t respond to clients’ emails? All you get is an automated response — even machines are proving more reliable than these so-called “professionals.”
And I’ll absolutely name names: Obakeng, Sipho, and Nomathemba. Why? Because after what felt like decades, those are the only ones who bothered to respond to my emails — and even then, the help was subpar at best.
After waiting nearly TWO MONTHS, you finally deliver a replacement — and it’s the WRONG DEVICE. I bought a DUAL SIM phone for a reason. If I wanted a single SIM, I wouldn’t have gone out of my way to get a dual SIM in the first place! You’ve added insult to injury — literally. Not only am I traumatized from the mugging, but now I’m being dragged through this emotionally draining mess by a team that clearly does not care.
For every single day that I don’t have the correct phone, I will continue to leave reviews highlighting your appalling customer service. I want my phone YESTERDAY. And let me be very clear: if I don’t have my correct device soon, Telkom can forget about debiting my account on the 1st. I’m DONE.
Telkom, get a better underwriter — because Omart is dragging your name through the mud. There is no way I’m renewing my contract after this nightmare.
