I have car that was ran into by an Old Mutual insure client and a claim to Old Mutual was made and this was their reason for declining the payout .
The apportioned settlement calculation came to a negative meaning that you end up owing Old Mutual the difference. The offer being a negative we suggest that each party bear their own costs. Below is the settlement calculations: My car toyota Etios ) -Tp damages: R 23064.75 X 70% R 16145.00 Their client - X5 ) Own damage: R 89803.60 X 30% R 26941.00 Therefore: R 16145.00 – R 26941.00 = -R10796.00 Trust the above is in order.
