7 MONTHS LATER AND STILL NO PAY OUT!

I was involved in an accident on 12 January 2015.A City Couriers truck bumped into me.I am claiming 3rd party as i was not at fault.The service of both City Couriers and Mutual and Federal are both appalling.If one does not phone or email then one does not get any response.This has now been a long antagonizing affair FOR 7 MONTHS!My claim was finally approved after much debate on the settlement agreement as the panel beaters quoted approx R13900 and the assessors quoted only R3600,what a joke.So had to take my car to get reassessed and stripped to only discover that my bumper was broken and had to be replaced which bought the original quote of R13900 to well over R25 000. to top this off i was told i must pay half because of a previous accident to my bumper by the assessor from Mutual and federal but the cause of the repairs was due to the accident by the truck.its been now 10 days since the agreement to settle the amount of R8200 less than half monies required and i still have not been paid out and have been told it takes 10 to 15 working days! this is way too long.I think its time to go to the Ombudsman and the newspaper as i believe Mutual and Federal need to be investigated.
