Worst experience ever!

<p> I bought a Mecer 10" tablet as I thought it was a good brand and good quality tablet. However, the tablet was faulty out-of-the-box. It kept switching off and then refusing to turn on again, even if the battery was fully charged. I took it in to the Mustek service centre in Midrand. Even though the tablet was brand new they decided to repair it instead of replacing it. I got it back and had the biggest shock of my life! The casing was twisted and broken. The corners were bent and the back cover was warped. As I was in the process of moving to KZN I didn't return it straightaway. To top it off, the tablet still had the same fault of just turning off by itself and then struggling to turn on again! </p> <p>After I moved I took the tablet to Mustek service centre Durban (A round trip of 160 Km). They once again decided to repair it instead of replacing it. I got it back still broken! To add insult to injury it still had the same fault, but now it was even worse. They replaced the battery with some cheap lower-spec one so now it lasts less than half the time it used to. NOT what I had paid for!! This was a brand-new tablet untill Mustek got hold of it and basically destroyed it.</p> <p>This is the worst service I have ever gotten from ANY company, nevermind one that is supposed to be high quality. I strongly urge anyone thinking of buying a Mecer product to stay very far away from this shoddy, bad-quality product and disgustingly bad service proffered by this useless company! I have been badly done in by this well-known, supposedly high-end business. Stay far away from Mustek and Mecer products. Pathetic! </p>
