They don't care ACCOUNT CLOSED for inactivity but sales and accounts never reply emails

Sales and accounts are always so slow to reply on quote requests. I received an email that my account will be terminate for inactivity soon, I rep**** to the email stating that I had trouble signing into the online dealer portal. To date they have never responded.

They sell directly to the public on their cash sales account and they allow any local business to register with them. If they don't "qualify" they just help them on the cash account anyway.

I have reactivated my account on multiple occasions because it does happen that you don't get any order for their products in a month. These R5000 monthly spend limits never app**** until they decided to finally close the account.

They sent forms for me to reapply. However, since I first started doing business with them the company changed from a Closed Corporation to a Sole Proprietorship thus I couldn't reapply.

They didn't care that all this time I was promoting and marketing their products. They don't care that their admin and sales staff are so slow to respond and ultimately contribute to the inactivity.

They don't care about how the pandemic impacted sales. They claim these policies are to protect their reseller, but I was a reseller until I wasn't, so you are only protecting your own profits, you don't care about your resellers.

They revoke dealer portal access but their marketing department isn't tied into the same system. It's fine if they send you marketing they don't remove you from that list.

I thought Reyhana Masimo would rectify and reactivate our account however they rather chose to keep it closed.

By the number of complaints this distributor receives and from our experience they are not up to standard to offer the level of service we believe our customer deserve.

We have since decided its for the best. We still wish to report this company to the Competition Commission because we believe that these policies are vertically restrictive business practices in accordance with Competition Act of South Africa.

There are a ton of great distributors in South Africa unfortunately Mustek isn't one of them anymore!
