STAY AWAY FROM THE MECER GURU PRO LAPTOP!

I am disgusted in the MECER GURU PRO and the lack of actual customer CARE from Mustek.

I received my first Mecer Guru Pro in December 2020. I never really used it a lot until February and the speakers and the screen started giving problems. Vodacom on black and white told me I have a guarantee on my laptop. I got to Mustek (As they told me to bring the laptop in). Mustek then told me I do not have a guarantee on the laptop which was NOT the truth - I only had the laptop for 2 months!!! He told me that they will be giving me a new one (Which I did appreciate under the circumstances because I knew I had a guarantee so actually he was supposed to do that!). Anyway, I went to collect the "new" laptop and as I asked for papers to sign that I have a guarantee on the new one, he said @Unfortunately you do not get one with this laptop" I had a argument with the guy as he refused to give me a guarantee -WHICH makes no sense because it is a NEW laptop - This explains a lot now, because now I am sitting with the "new" laptop and it is giving me more problems than the previous one!!!!On top of that Vodacom never gave me my MONDO voucher that came with the deal until this day! SO BOTH companies are to blame for this bad experience! Very disappointed in BOTH companies
