Poor Quality
I must say that Mustek products have left a bitter taste in my mouth. I will never spend or advise someone to spend money on their products. I bought 2 laptops for my kids which subsequently stopped working 2 months after using them. I took them to Mustek and they replaced them with new ones. One of the new ones *****s came off after a few months. I took it back to mustek and I was told that my warranty had expired and they will quote me for a new laptop. Apparently the warranty was dated back to when I made my first purchase, how insane is that. Looks like Mustek make cheap products so that people can keep coming back, there is no Value for money. I have a laptop that I've been using for 5 yrs with no issues almost everyday but Mustek products have failed so bad. My kids don't even use these laptops every day......

In terms of the warranty, in any transaction\agreement to the purchase of a good, the warranty commences from the original date of purchase of the good for the duration as provided by the supplier\retailer.
The supplier will then repair\replace the faulty good within the warranty period.
