Mustek and Platinum Warranty

Very unhappy with Mustek and Plantinum Warranty. Purchased a brand new Mecer laptop because I have to work from home. Two weeks later the laptop didn't go past switching on screen. After a long struggle they sent a replacement laptop. This laptop does not even switch on. This is unacceptable and I want to know who of them will be paying my bills this month and explain to my boss why I can't work.
