LACK OF PROPER INFORMATION
My Samsung 40\ TV was supp**** by Mustek. As an end user, I cannot contact customer service directly via their website.

On the 24th of Feb 2015 I took my TV, which is still under warranty, to Mustek for repairs. I was advised to also hand in my remote. I drove all the way back home to fetch it.

The TV and remote was accepted without Sibusiso informing me that the repairs would not be done at Mustek. When I phoned on Friday the 26th, I was told by a lady in the service department that it has been repaired and at the time, was being tested.

I phoned again later and was told that Sam was the technician responsible for the repairs. He was not in but phoned me back later. Only then did I learn that it was sent to Rectron because Samsung would not pay for repairs done under warranty. I can understand that, but why was I not told from the onset? I could have taken it directly to the right place.

Why Rectron I wonder? Does it go from there to yet another place to which I could have taken it myself? How can Sam be so sure I should get it back by this coming Tuesday? Who keeps track? This could drag on for a very long time.

The above relates to ***, Job # 984697

"
