Bad Service

I am so unhappy with the service provided by Mustek. I have requested a quotation for laptops and I was provided with 2 quotations. My client chose the Mecer laptop which I sent a PO to Mustek to complete the order. After sending the PO I was advised that Mustek won’t be able to add additional hard-drive to the laptop which was not disclosed in the quotation, the quotation included service fee for adding another hard-drive.

My client is expecting these machines by Friday 21 August and I have quoted them according to the quotation I received from Mustek. I started to wonder why would Mustek not want to include the hard-drive as included in their quotation, only to find out that the hard-drive is not compatible with the machine. During my research, I found that there is another hard-drive that can be compatible with the machine even though the storage space is 500GB not 1TB that I promised my client. The problem is this 500GB hard-drive is R410 higher than what was initially quoted. Mustek could not even correct their mistake and give me this at the initial quoted price. Remember I have already failed my client and because I am now offering lower storage. I am already incurring other costs that would have not been there if the quotation had the correct equipment as the specification that was provided.

My problem is Mustek is not willing to assist me in any way here. They had already given a 2% discount on the initial quotation but are not even willing to give further discounts or invoice as the initial quotation+2% discount. Now I have to spend more on a mistake that was not coming from my side.
