No refunds given with slip and original packaging musica paarl

I bought a pair of Bluetooth headphones and tried to return them after trying to use it once and was dissatisfied with them as it hurt my ears and didn't fit properly and also not working with my phone. I went to musica this morning trying to return them with the original packaging and my slip and they refused to take it back and give me my refund. The manager said that he couldn't take it back as now he couldn't put it back on the shelf and has to call the supplier first before a refund can be given. I am very dissatisfied.
