No communication regarding exchanges

On the 31 October 2015 in the morning I purchased an Xbox 360 game from this store as a birthday gift. All games are sealed by Microsoft.<br> <br> I chose to get the game rather than a gift card as it is more personal and as the game is sealed exchanging it should not be an issue.<br> <br> Upon payment the sales person broke the seal to 'show' me the cd's are inside which I thought was strange but I left it there as I thought it was their policy to do so since no other communication was given to me.<br> <br> About 4 hours later we had to return as the person already had this specific title. (and have to add now that the seal was broken it actually looked like i gave a second hand gift)<br> <br> We were offhandedly told sorry they do not exchange as the seal is broken. When we said they broke it we were informed that is why they do it as they do not do exchanges and turned and walked away.<br> <br> Now we have a game that cannot be used, R 300 down the drain and no respect left for this store.<br> <br> I want to know why is this Musica's policy? How is this fair towards the consumer?
