Lack of interest

When my father died, I contacted the pensioner scheme at M&R to notify them that my mother did not have email and telephone access because of a big storm. The woman we dealt with told me that she deals with 4000 pensioners and I can't expect her to know which pensioner is which and she would contact my mother on her email if there were anu urgent matters to be dealt with. Not a great experience.
