Poor and costly maintenance

Just another ****mers. The actual problem you have will not be fixed but other unaffected parts will be quoted for and replaced. I took my car in for repairs as I had a gearbox oil leak. There was also some noise that started when I release clutch and disappears when I depress it. I requested for full inspection and I was quoted for 44 000 which included a change of a fly wheel, clutch plate and slave, of which was diagnosed without first stripping the gearbox. I consented with repairs of a total cost of 34 000. With all those costs paid for, the noise from the clutch is still there and the replaced parts they gave me (fly wheel, clutch plate) are still in good condition which means they were not the issue. A cambelt that was quoted for as part of the equipment handed over to me as replaced parts is new, meaning it was never changed. Worst of all I now return home with a new problem, failing fuel injector that was never a problem prior to taking the car in for repairs. I wouldn’t recommend their service from my experience. They just have good PR.
