Very poor quality of goods and very little accountability

I bought two of their Sparkler 150 pool lights. Within 5 weeks, one had flooded, and a few weeks later, the other one did. The lights and controller weren't cheap, at R3,600. When I got them, they were entirely plastic and very, very poorly constructed. They are in Capetown and I am in St. Francis Bay though, so I thought I'd give them a go anyway. And despite the relatively large monetary amount, I had to incur all shipping and handling costs. Generally companies that are willing to ship, cover those costs for light weight, small items over a certain amount. Anyway, when the lights failed, they offered a refund, but they would not cover shipping costs for the return either. So bottom line, Multisource produces some of the poorest quality goods I've ever seen in lighting. The material and manufacturing costs on these lights cannot be more than R100, and they have the gall to charge R3,600 for products that fail within a very short period of time. My experience would have been slightly better with them if they had been accountable enough to absorb the shipping costs. I have since purchased two, very robust, 304 Stainless Steel and glass pool lights from China, for about half the cost. Each light weighs just shy of 2kgs, and very good quality. So before you spend your hard earned money, think twice before spending it with Multisource Technologies.
