Don't buy property from MSP!

I bought a house in Azzadville Gardens through property developers called RBA. The sale was concluded in 29 November 2016. Before I could sign on the dotted line, I was assisted by a Sales Lady, who showed me different houses under RBA, and assisted me though the sale. When we viewed the properties, I asked if the kitchen cabinets came with the price structure, she rep**** by saying that cupboards are an added extra and therefore have an extra charge, which I fully understood.

The RBA houses had full window burglars on every window as well as floor tilling. When I was finally signing the contract at BRA Braamfontein, in the presence of my daughter, and I was choosing colours for the exterior of the house (gutters, walls, roofing), I asked the sales lady if I could also choose a colour for the floor tiles. Of which she said, I couldn't because all tilling is a standard at RBA (they use the same colour). She however did not mention at that moment that tilling is a cosmetic. According to what she told me, tiling came with the package, however there was no tick/selection made on the contract. I trusted her and let it go. She promised the house would be complete by March 2017, and encouraged my decision to change my children's school.

However that was not the case. By March the house was not built and instead of the sales lady informing me, I saw on a news site that RBA had been liquidated. She only told me about the liquidation when I asked her about it. It had been bought by MSP Properties. Emails followed soon and I was given a new contract from MSP, which was a duplicate of what I signed with RBA,

Fast forward to September, over 6 months later, I was called in to do final checks on the property before signing the final happy letter. Besides a few fixable building faults here and there, I saw that the window burglars were different and not like the one's I was promised. I also noticed that floor tilling had not been done. When I asked why, the lady from MSP told me that tilling does not come with the price structure I paid and was not indicated on my contract. She promised to investigate and come back to me with a resolve, which she never did.

I took it on myself to call MSP and get to a resolution. But I still haven't gotten one. I've numerously contacted the Project Manager for Azzadville Gardens, who is not very forthcoming and insists the contract doesn't state anything about tilling. Even when I explain to him what happened, they refuse to fix the fault made by their now sales agent.

She falsified information about the sale (while she was still under RBA) and therefore when I signed the new contract from MSP, I had expectations that everything we agreed on, and were promised by RBA, would be fulfilled by MSP. If she was able to let us know that built-in kitchen cupboards are an added extra, I believe there was an opportunity to tell us that floor tilling is also an added extra. She gave incorrect information by saying tilling was a standard for all RBA clients and there was no need to tick on the contract. For that reason I believe it's MSP's responsibility to rectify that.

When I speak to her now, she's very hostile and says it's not her fault that MSP does things differently compared to RBA. MSP also refuses to resolve the matter. We made a cash payment, which makes this more frustrating. I wish I should have taken my money elsewhere.
