Melted shoes!

Multiserv townsqaure mall in Alberton, I took 2 pairs of shoes to be fixed. The one pair had to get stitches and the second pair i just wanted them to put glue at the toe tip.. A heat gun was used on both shoes, they are both melted and can't be worn. The second pair are painted shoes, they now have bubbles and cracked due to the heat gun that was used on them. I asked to see the store owner who at first said he didn't see anything wrong with the shoes, after a heated argument the owner said he can only offer me R500 for damages to both pairs of shoes.

I took that as an insult cause both those pairs cost over R4500 and now they are damaged and can't be worn anymore. He futhet told me that I can take him to court cause Multiserv is not responsible for any damages that may occur to a customer's goods while in their care and also that my shoes and second hand.. I'm frustrated and disappointed by multiserv cause they weren't at all professional in repairing my shoes and the way the store was rude and not will to take responsibility for the damages that his workers did to my shoes.
