Could have gotten better better shoe repair on Street Corner

I took an Expensive basket ball shoe to have the soles glued in certain areas as it was washed in hot water in error, when I collected it the next day the soles were not set and I was advised it was set overnight.

Well it has been two nights and it still looks like kid glued it with toothpaste!!!!!!!!!!!!!
