Excellent Service
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Emmanuel, owner of Multicam Camera Services in Kruis Street, Johannesburg. My Nikon camera had been at a highly recommended repair shop since February 2026. Throughout that time, I was repeatedly told they were waiting for spare parts and that, because of the war and other global supply issues, the cost of repairs had increased dramatically. Eventually, I was advised that the main PCB would need replacing, and I was even offered a second-hand camera of the same make and model for R3,000 so that it would remain compatible with my lenses. Before making such a significant decision, I decided to do some research of my own. That is when I discovered Multicam Camera Services. Although I was initially apprehensive about travelling into Johannesburg’s city centre, the moment I walked through the door I was warmly welcomed by Emmanuel. Within minutes, he confidently diagnosed the problem. He explained that there was absolutely no need to replace the entire PCB—the issue was simply with the SD card slot assembly. He also shared that he had started his career repairing Nikon cameras and was very fami**** with my model, which immediately gave me confidence. Emmanuel promised to phone me the following day with a quotation, and true to his word, he did exactly that. Even more impressively, my camera was repaired and ready for collection the very next day. I cannot express how delighted I was. The professionalism, honesty, technical expertise and incredibly fast turnaround time were simply outstanding.
