Mullers Optomitrist Tygervalley admin absolutely hopless

Been going to Mullers over a period of more than 30 years back in the days when their shop was still in Durban road Bellville close to Fattis and Monis. Due to deteriorating service over the last 15 years (as with most services in SA from government and private sector alike), I tried other optical service outlets such as Spec Savers. The Cape Gate branch of Spec Savers are absolutely hopeless with the incorrect prescription lenses made on two occasions over a four year period. On the other hand Spec Savers in Langebaan (Sammy) is absolutely great (who incidentally corrected the last prescription mess of the Cape Gate branch). Because I moved back to Cape Town I decided to give Mullers another try. I rated them 3 stars based on the great service I received from the optician Christine van Rensburg and not from Mullers the branch at Tygervalley whom after giving my cell number thrice still got it wrong, updating my contact details telephonically including new address failed to update and after going to the branch to update still had incorrect address details on the statement which was the wrong postal code and a mixture of my old and new addresses with incorrect spelling. Really, what a bunch of losers. Clearly, the professionalism of Christine is misplaced at the the Tygervalley branch of Mullers and needs to find a more professional environment to practice. Your diligence, professionalism and humility Ms Christine van Rensburg is duly noticed and appreciated.
