Most horrific experience I have ever had.
I have walked 5 weeks with Mullanay's auto body shop (which is far too long in the first place) and every single experience I have had in these five weeks, has been absolutely horrific.
At first they told me my car should be ready on Friday 10 August. That Thursday, they called and told me it would ready by the next Friday. They told ME that it was because of all the public holidays (there was just one). They told my dad, on the other hand that it was because they ordered a wrong part. The next Friday came and I called them to follow up on my car because they told me it would be ready. Yet again, they told me that my car wasn't ready (so, I had to call them to find out my car was not ready). Their excuse was that they ordered ALL the wrong parts. I told them that it's ridiculous and that I want a rental car, so they told me I could get a courtesy car by Wednesday. Wednesday morning they called me and told me that it was not possible to give me the courtesy car. I put my foot down and they told me they will see what they can do and get back to me. 16:15 (peak traffic time) they called me and told me I can come and collect the courtesy car, but they close by 17:00. I live in Durbanville and they are in the city. It is physically impossible to uber there in 45 minutes in peak traffic time. I told them that I would come and collect it Thursday 15:00. I got there and collected the vehicle. Just as I drove away, I realised that they gave me a car without a drop of petrol in. The range said that I can't drive any further. Not knowing the city and with a phone's gps that is not working I had to look for a petrol station in a ***** area not knowing if I am going to make it any further. I am an easy target being a young woman alone in an area like that and I feared for my life. If the car was to run out of petrol, I would have been in serious danger. Luckily I found a petrol station and with A LOT of pressure and demands, they brought me my car on Friday 31 August, 2 hours after they have received my proof of payment, which should have not taken more than an hour. They also received my car half full of petrol and I received it back 1/4.
Their service lacked in every single department that they could possibly offer.
