14+ years for a litigation case.

Think twice before opening a litigation case. My case was opened at Mulherbe Rigg & Ranwell in 2005. We went to court and I won the case in 2012. The case went to appeal and here we are near the end of 2019 with a hearing date for the appeal not being set. After 14+ years and almost R200 000, my multiple lawyers maintain that they are always acting in my best interests. Either somebody is not doing their job or, this matter is being blocked somewhere One would think that a lawyer acting your best interests would investigate on your behalf? Obviously the longer a case takes the more billable hours can be justified.
