Bad service
I received money but am unable to withdraw the money. I spoke to a call center agent who told me I won't be able to withdraw the money because they don't have an agent in my area and they don't have a branch. I asked her for an alternative she just said sorry you won't be able to withdraw money. The sad part is this is the second time I had a bad encounter with mukuru very bad service I won't recommend anyone to use thier services I would love a bad review on all social media platforms I am so angry for lack of professionalism and customer service

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you've experienced in accessing your funds. We understand how important it is to have seamless access to your money, and we regret that this has been a recurring issue for you.Since the funds originate from another service provider, our integration is not yet fully seamless. However, we have made accommodations through Mukuru Card and branch withdrawals to assist customers. We acknowledge that the nearest branch is too far for you, and we sincerely regret the difficulty this has caused.
As an alternative, please inform the sender that Mukuru offers a direct transfer option from the UK to South Africa via the Mukuru app. This service allows customers to receive funds directly into their South African bank accounts or the cash collection transfers below R3,000 to be processed using a Wicode for easy withdrawal, while amounts exceeding R3,000 will require a Mukuru Card or branch collection. It is also concerning to hear that you were informed you could not withdraw your funds due to a lack of agents or branches in your area. While we continue to expand our network, such responses from our team are unacceptable. We are addressing this internally to ensure that customers receive accurate and helpful information moving forward. We truly appreciate your patience and will do our best to assist you in finding a solution. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help.
