Waiters are really unfriendly

I am really fond of rewarding great service, so when the service is great, 10% of the bill does not do any justice to thank a waitress/waiter.<br> <br> Yesterday my husband & I went to the Mugg & Bean in Tygervalley & we were assisted by Nomhle.<br> <br> I don't like going to Mugg & Bean, mainly because of the really unfriendly waiters, & this unfortunately is a problem I have experienced at various M&B all over SA.<br> <br> The last time I was at M&B in Tygervalley, I was given a menu & after 20 minutes of no service I got up & left.<br> <br> We greeted Nomhle with a smile, but received no kindness in return. She made us feel unwanted for the rest of our time at Mugg & Bean. We thanked her for the coffee she brought, for food, for the bill etc. But nothing.<br> Despite her unfriendly attitude we kept on being polite. My husband is amazing about people like that, he always tries to turn the situation around. But for some reason it always looked like we were bothering her.<br> <br> Why bother to work in an industry that relies solely on people skills, as it effects your tip?<br> This is the first time that I felt not even willing to give a 10% tip.<br> Mugg & Bean needs to seriously address this issue with their waiters?
